Authorization and review
When payment is submitted, the customer authorizes the merchant and its payment providers to validate the payment method, reserve or charge the amount due, and perform fraud, security, or compliance checks. An order can be held, declined, or canceled when authorization fails, information is inconsistent, stock is unavailable, or risk controls require it.
Charges and refunds
The final total, including item prices, shipping, and applicable taxes, are shown before the order is submitted. Customers are responsible for accurate billing information. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method when possible; the financial institution determines when the credit appears. We do not request payment outside the secure checkout for an ordinary website order.
